Suna Celebrates National Staffing Employee Week 2021
Next week marks the start of National Staffing Employee Week 2021. This week is promoted by the American Staffing Association and it is meant to recognize the contributions to our economy made by the millions of temporary and contract employees. During this week, many staffing companies will host events honoring these employees.
The staffing industry has come a long way. The birth of the staffing industry started in the 1940s during World War II. As employees went to war, businesses were struggling to make do with all their open positions that were left behind. As the need for staffing agencies were established out of the demand to help the businesses to fill positions quickly, the industry continued to grow as the soldiers that returned needed help finding work again. And this was just the beginning as there now is around 53,000 Staffing/Employment services helping workers throughout the United States finding temporary and permanent work. And these staffing firms employ around 6.3 million people.
Starting Monday – September 13th – we will be celebrating our employees by hosting a weeklong virtual games. We will be sending our temporary employees an email each day that will consist of different games. Each game they get correct they will be entered into a raffle to win an iPad and Suna Backpack.
